Welcome to Afternoon Archives, a curated collection of the curious, the macabre, and the beautifully unsettling. Here, the forgotten and the fragile can find new life; antique books, ephemera, and objects that elicit feelings of discomfort can find new homes.

We're drawn to the things most will look away from - the relics that magnify human impermanence. Each piece is chosen for the strange curiosity it carries and the feelings it evokes. Our store is for the literary buffs, the curiously morbid, and the outcasts who view things a little differently.

Afternoon Archives invites you to take a closer look at the things that make us uncomfortable - where beauty and decay are one and the same.

MEET THE CURATORS

Kylee | Founder

Kylee is our Jack of all trades. She opened this store on eBay in 2020 with Spirit Halloween merch, then quickly moved on to antique and vintage decor. She's since honed her skills and finds the most joy from oddities, antique books, and ephemera. She is our live streamer, shipper, curator, photographer, logistics manager, customer service rep, and whatever else needs done. If you look up "boss ass bitch" in the dictionary, you'll find her portrait.

Kush | Curator

Kush (pronounced koosh) is in charge of ensuring the owner doesn't lose her mind. He assists in research, curating, and shipping. He loves to dig deep into the history of the things we procure, and he will info dump on you the second you show interest. He's The Muscle - he carries the heavy items to where they need to be. He is also very proficient in hijinks and graduated with honors as an official Minister from the Ministry of Silly Walks.
